JBS Releases a Workshop to Interactively Experience the AI Assistant Tool Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 Offered by Microsoft Before Implementation

Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereinafter, “JBS” securities code: 5036) released on December 14, 2023 the Advisory Workshop for Microsoft Copilot, a service to experience before implementation the AI assistant tool Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 (hereinafter, “Copilot for Microsoft 365”), which was released by Microsoft for corporations on November 1, 2023.

By participating in this workshop, it is possible to learn to be creative with instructions/questions (prompts) that are important for using Copilot for Microsoft 365 in accordance with work scenarios and concrete issues, and experience how to use Copilot for Microsoft 365 in situations in which it would be easy to see the benefits of implementation such as in meetings, summarizing e-mails, or creating drafts. One characteristic of this workshop is that instead of a one-sided seminar type workshop, participants and the lecturer communicate interactively based on the latest update information for Copilot for Microsoft 365 and check concrete usage scenes and display images.

JBS has been participating in the advance verification of Copilot for Microsoft 365 since August and has incorporated the lessons learned from the experience of repeated technological testing, such as employees using Copilot for Microsoft 365 in their actual work, into the Advisory Workshop for Microsoft Copilot.

  • Background to the Development of the Advisory Workshop for Microsoft Copilot

    Based on Azure OpenAI Service released by Microsoft in January 2023, by providing support for the use of generative AI such as by Sega Sammy Holdings and the provision of AIplicity Chat Powered by ChatGPT API, a service to safely and securely use ChatGPT API, JBS has been working to help customers become more familiar with AI and supporting their use and establishment of AI. On November 16, 2023, JBS released the implementation support service Copilot NAVI, which compiles training and education content as videos and overview documents to support the first steps in implementing Copilot for Microsoft 365, providing How to Work with Copilot , tips, collection of golden prompts , and more. We have already received reservations in advance from many companies and have gained a track record of implementation at companies on a scale of tens and thousands of employees.

    On the other hand, we have heard from companies that are interested in Copilot for Microsoft 365 that they would like to experience how to realize improved productivity and business streamlining by using Copilot for Microsoft 365 while checking the actual displays and that they would like to gain hints for usage cases simultaneously while engaging in dialogue. This led to JBS releasing the Advisory Workshop for Microsoft Copilot as the second part in a series of Copilot for Microsoft 365-related services. Through this workshop, we hope that customers will be able to feel concrete value in Copilot for Microsoft 365 and that we will be able to provide hints for smooth development at their companies for implementation.
