About HPC Azure
- HPC Azure is a platform optimized to increase the speed of calculations by breaking them up into parts to solve in parallel. It is also optimized to speed up Excel. The platform is based on the publicly available “Microsoft Azure” released by Microsoft. (Implementation based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft HPC Pack)
- Procedures that require high performance computing (HPC), such as actuarial calculations like Embedded Value and risk assessment, can be carried out swiftly and cheaply by tens to hundreds of servers.
- By using Microsoft Azure, a server environment can be provided within a few minutes. Using only the necessary number of servers for the necessary duration at the necessary moment allows both the initial cost and the completion time to be drastically reduced. Furthermore, sudden needs like “I want an increase of 100 CPUs by tomorrow!” can be easily met through HPC Azure.
