(Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereinafter, “JBS,” securities code: 5036) is pleased to announce that it has acquired shares in Japan Current Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “JC”), a company with strengths in AI usage and data analysis and which develops and implements its own services, making it a subsidiary and changing its management structure.

JBS established its Data & AI Div. in October last year, and this acquisition marks a strategic step toward expanding its business.
