JBS Develops Sales-Specific AI Agent, Sales AIgent (Tentative Name)
–Supports the Entire Sales Process and Contributes to Strengthening Companies’ Sales Capabilities–

Sales AIgent (tentative name) is a solution aimed at increasing corporate sales that accompanies all processes from preparations for business negotiations through to post-negotiation processes, while referring to various information. AI provides all-round support from promoting sales cases to closing them, including accumulating sales information, creating proposal materials, visualizing the implicit knowledge of top salespeople, and analyzing accumulated data. It will improve the productivity of all sales representatives and raise the level of a company’s sales capabilities, contributing to increased profits through increased sales and improved operational efficiency. Currently, the system is developed and provided on a customized basis to suit the sales activities and needs of each company, but in the future, the aim is to develop it into a package that can provide scalability and flexibility and develop it into a next-generation CRM.
The solution under development will be available to experience in a demonstration format at the JBS booth (no. 8-28) at the 9th AI EXPO TOKYO [Spring] (organized by RX Japan Ltd. ), which will be held at Tokyo Big Sight (East Exhibition Halls) from Tuesday, April 15 to Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Background to Solution Development
In order to meet the potential needs of companies when it comes to using generative AI in business, we believe it is important to apply it in a comprehensive approach that directly leads to increased sales, or in other words, to “improving sales capabilities,” rather than just focusing on improving business efficiency or cost reductions on a piecemeal basis. That is the reason why we developed this solution.
According to the “Preliminary Values of Generative AI Usage (From the “Corporate IT Trends Survey 2025 ”)” (press release from the Japan Users Association of Information Systems ), “41.2% of companies have introduced or are in the process of introducing language-based generative AI, and among companies with sales of 1 trillion yen or more over 70% have introduced it,” indicating that the rate of generative AI adoption has risen sharply since FY2023 . Meanwhile, when asked about measuring the effectiveness of introduction, 59.8% of companies responded that they “have not measured the effectiveness.”
Even if generative AI is used, the reality is that the return on investment is difficult to visualize from a management perspective. For example, replacing in-house inquiry response with auto-generative AI does not simply result in a reduction in labor costs. Or, even if generative AI is used to handle only part of the work, it is difficult to verify the effect of using AI. Some companies have been hesitant to fully implement generative AI because it is difficult to see the return on investment. By applying generative AI to all sales activities, from preparation for business negotiations through to post-negotiation processes, in order to increase a company’s sales, it becomes easier for the company to measure the effects, such as increased profits due to increased sales and improved business efficiency. In this way the value of implementing generative AI becomes visible.
Furthermore, while products that are specialized for and support specific areas of sales activities, such as automated creation of meeting minutes using generative AI and AI role-playing for salespeople, are easy to implement, they offer only partial optimization, so there is a need for products that support the entire sales process, improve productivity, and provide better returns on investment. Against this backdrop, JBS felt that it was urgent to develop a solution that would take an all-round approach.
Sales AIgent (tentative name) not only improves the productivity of sales representatives in each sales process, but also provides all-round support through AI agents, including accumulating sales information, reporting customer information to management in real time, visualizing the implicit sales knowledge of top salespeople, and analyzing accumulated sales data. This will help strengthen sales productivity and capabilities across the entire company, something that was difficult to do with conventional CRM, and contribute to increased sales.
Future Prospects
In the initial phase JBS will focus on large companies and will integrate services individually according to the sales processes of each industry and company. However, in order to provide even greater scalability and flexibility, JBS is also simultaneously testing and developing products and services that package highly versatile functions.
Sales information that leads to building relationships with customers and increasing sales is often buried in non-standard information such as online meetings, emails, and conversations following sales negotiations. The direction for future function expansion and development is to develop this service into a next-generation CRM system that collects standard and non-standard information and applies the latest generative AI technology. We hope to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of companies through innovation to increase sales.
Solution Overview
Sales AIgent (tentative name) is not simply a tool that supports each phase of a sales negotiation; it treats the sales process as a “continuous and cyclical activity” and uses an AI agent to accompany and support the company in every situation.
By utilizing accumulated sales information and behavioral data of top salespeople in determining the next action, it is possible to continuously strengthen a company’s sales capabilities.
