JBS and S&J Launch Jointly Developed JBS SOC Security Monitoring Service, Achieving an Industry First of Integrated Monitoring of Microsoft Azure, in Addition to Microsoft 365

Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereinafter, “JBS” securities code: 5036) and S&J Corporation (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Nobuo Miwa; hereinafter, “S&J”) have launched provision of JBS SOC,*1 a jointly developed security monitoring service that enables integrated monitoring of Microsoft Azure, in addition to Microsoft 365, an industry first.*2

In recent years, cloud migration of business systems is advancing and clouds are increasingly becoming the target for cyberattacks. To counter this threat, more and more companies are implementing security solutions such as Microsoft 365 E5 Security and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. However, many companies have little experience in operating such solutions and encounter problems such as a lack of knowledge or systemic issues, including the need for security experts for advanced security measures.

To address such problems, JBS, which has handled numerous Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure security matters and operation, and S&J, which possesses threat analysis and advice capabilities backed by extensive experience in security accident handling and strengths in security operation and monitoring, have jointly developed JBS SOC, which is a new service in the industry that provides security integrated monitoring for both Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

Security analysts provide around-the-clock monitoring of the alerts detected by Microsoft 365 E5 Security and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. Gaining an understanding of your environment in advance, they use Microsoft Sentinel*3 to conduct a correlation analysis of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure logs as well as firewalls, proxy, and other transmission logs. This enables them to determine the degree of impact of threats and notify you only of the alerts that require handling.

Additionally, utilizing JBS’s strengths, these analysts handle threats using the functions of Microsoft 365 E5 Security and Microsoft Defender for Cloudr, tuning up your security to improve the precision of alert detection and block known threats. They further assess your monitoring situation and security status of your environment on a monthly basis and present improvement plans.

JBS SOC enables you to use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure safely.

By further expanding alert monitoring targets to firewalls, proxy, other transmission logs, and multi-clouds, JBS SOC aims to transition from being a service that provides security integrated monitoring for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure to one that provides security integrated monitoring for your overall environment.
