Description of Research

It is considered to be effective to identify lip movement by conducting emotion analyses of people from images and footage. However, there were cases in which lip movement could not be accurately identified from target images using conventional methods. In this research, by improving conventional methods and interpolating data, the researchers succeeded in identifying the lip area with higher precision. This method will lead to outcomes such as the emotion analysis of participants in a meeting, identification of speakers, and improved precision in compiling meeting minutes from voice recognition. Therefore, we hope that this technology can be applied in the future to the meeting facilitation support app metis sofie offered by JBS.
