Japan Business Systems Agrees to Set Up a Joint Venture with rhipe, the Australian Company, Expanding Sales of Microsoft Cloud Solution in the Japanese SMB Market

Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yukihiro Makita, President; hereinafter “JBS”) and rhipe Limited(Head Office: Sydney, Australia; Representative: Dominic O’Hanlon, CEO; hereinafter “rhipe”)are to announce an agreement to establish a joint venture that will be known as rhipe Japan K.K. (hereinafter “rhipe Japan”), and to start it’s business.

rhipe, the Asia Pacific’s leading cloud channel company, says rhipe Japan will aim to be appointed as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP*) partner by Microsoft Japan. And rhipe’s credentials as Microsoft’s leading Indirect CSP partner based in Asia Pacific will place it in a strong position to assist in growing Japan’s CSP business, especially in the significantly under-service Small and Medium Sized Business (“SMB”) segment of the market.
