JBS establishes a device deployment test lab for Windows Autopilot, a new cloud-based service to facilitate automatic deployment of Windows 10 devices

Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yukihiro Makita, President; hereinafter “JBS”) will open a Hands-on Lab for Windows Autopilot in February 2019 to provide organizations with opportunities to test Windows Autopilot, a cloud-based service that helps automatic Windows 10 deployment to actual devices.

Windows Autopilot is a service of Microsoft Japan which helps deploy Windows 10 efficiently to a large number of PCs. Windows Autopilot allows end users to power up the PC, log on with the company credentials authenticated on the cloud to automatically deploy preconfigured company settings.
However, in order to use Windows Autopilot, the end-user organization needs to acquire device IDs from hardware vendors in advance and as the cloud service itself is continuously updated, some end-user organizations find it difficult to prepare a satisfactory test lab environment on their own.

The Hands-on Lab for Windows Autopilot provides facilities prepared by JBS including the equipment and the environment necessary for testing. By using this lab, the IT pros of the end-user organizations can experience the actual deployment to devices. JBS will also accommodate organizations’ requests to bring in the first-party standard devices for testing. (*)

In setting up the lab, JBS will also proceed with Windows Autopilot deployment to company devices and showcase maximized advantages of Microsoft 365 Enterprise E5 already deployed within the company.
