JBS Wins a Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year Award for Six Consecutive Years with the Modern Workplace Transformation Award in FY2018

On August 30, 2018, Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Yukihiro Makita, President; hereinafter “JBS”) won the Modern Workplace Transformation Award at Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year 2018 held by Microsoft Japan Co. Ltd. (hereinafter “Microsoft”).
With this award, JBS has won an award at Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year for six consecutive years.

Microsoft Japan Partner of the Year is an event in which Microsoft selects partner companies that have achieved excellent outcomes in 23 categories from among Microsoft Partner Network participating companies.

Of these awards, the Modern Workplace Transformation Award is awarded to partners that have contributed to the transformation of clients’ workplaces and achieved substantive and sustainable growth. JBS achieved this by advancing the introduction of the full set of Microsoft 365 services (Office 365, Windows 10, Enterprise Security + Mobility) to companies, with JBS taking the lead while cooperating with other partner companies as well.

The following three points were recognized, leading to JBS winning this award.

  1. Driving real showcase efforts (introducing and using Microsoft’s latest solutions at JBS itself), JBS established know-how for the usage of Microsoft 365 E5, Workplace Analytics, and Teams.
  2. JBS implemented the introduction of Workplace Analytics, Microsoft’s latest and most advanced function, on a trial basis with support from Microsoft. It quantitatively visualized the current situation of working styles at JBS and identified concrete measures to respond to challenges and causes based on the current situation. The release of this case study received a great response from the media and clients.
  3. Utilizing the above experience and know-how, JBS conducted work style reform consulting, working with clients face to solve issues that they face from upstream processes, and formulating plans to make systems take root with a people-oriented approach. Conducting system introduction using their technological capabilities and experience, JBS has led numerous clients’ projects to successful conclusions.
