JBS awarded “2018 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year” for the first time based on superior track record in Japan

On June 8, 2018, Japan Business Systems, Inc. (headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President: Yukihiro Makita; hereafter referred to as “JBS”) announced it was selected as Microsoft Country Partner of the Year by Microsoft Corporation (headquarters: Washington State, USA; CEO: Satya Nadella; hereafter referred to as “Microsoft”). This is the first time for JBS to receive this honor, presented as part of the 2018 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Awards.

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Award – Overview

Once a year, Microsoft recognizes partner corporations which have demonstrated proven track records in utilizing Microsoft products to forge outstanding solution services. The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Award incorporates numerous categories. This year, over 2,600 applications were entered from 115 countries. The Microsoft Country Partner of the Year is awarded to a sole contender from each participating nation. JBS was granted the award for the first time this year. The honor represents Microsoft’s recognition of the single partner enterprise which has delivered the most outstanding track record during the past year in its host nation.

The JBS winning features

The following points were highlighted as winning features in JBS’s approach to exacting business innovation for clients in collaboration with Microsoft:

  1. Promoting client system “cloud shift”
    JBS pairs its original solutions with Azure, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics 365 to promote a smooth “cloud shift” of client systems for major manufacturers, principal financial institutions, and other JBS customers.
  2. Providing value-added services
    JBS continually broadens value-added services to meet various client needs, developing solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
  3. Expanding the JBS “Real Showcase”
    JBS serves as its own showcase, proactively implementing and incorporating the latest Microsoft solutions in-house, enabling the company to develop strategic implementation proposals and advance cloud utilization on behalf of its clients.
