JBS Releases "Cloud Service Security Reference for Municipalities"

Shifting to cloud is a recent trend among enterprises. Now the government promotes cloud-shifting for local government for cost saving and common governmental administration. But utilization of public cloud is limited compared with enterprises due to various reasons such as a legal risk about the location of data center and how to handle on-site audit from authorities.

That is why JBS together with Mitsubishi Research Institute released "Cloud Service Security Reference for Municipalities" by checking whether Microsoft Azure and Office 365 meet the requirements of the four security guidelines deeply related to local government so that the utilization of cloud services will expand among municipalities.
