Case Study

JBS today announced the introduction of a case study featuring Office 365 at Sanrio Company, Ltd. (Hereinafter Sanrio)

Sanrio, well-known for world famous character "Hello Kitty", started using Microsoft Office 365 in Nov. 2014 for internal communication and information sharing platform with high security and governance. It supports business growth initiatives globally from Information Technology standpoint.

Sanrio used to use different types of groupware in multiple departments. In order to improve internal communications Sanrio started considering the migration to a new cloud service in 2014 when the replacement of the mail server was in need. Office 365 was in the shortlist because it can be used globally as a standard cloud service. Office 365 enables Sanrio to reduce the workload for server maintenance and to simplify the Office license management. It also brings advantages which other cloud services cannot provide such as user familiarity with Outlook, telephone support in Japanese 24 by 7. Considering these total values and drastic cost saving as well as reliability of Microsoft, Sanrio decided to install Office 365.

JBS supported Sanrio with implementation of Office 365 while keeping the customer's burden to the minimum.
