Sonus Introduces Case Study of Unified Communications Environment at JBS by Skype for Business Enterprise Voice with Sonus SBC 1000

JBS today announced the introduction of a Unified Communication (UC) case study featuring Skype for Business (former Lync) Enterprise Voice at JBS by Sonus Networks Japan.

JBS at the time of office move in Aug. 2014 deployed Microsoft Lync 2013 (current Skype for Business) Enterprise Voice on a full scale. Sonus SBC 1000 is positioned as a VoIP gateway connecting Enterprise Voice and PSTN. Even after the move some departments continue to use fixed phones. Sonus SBC 1000 is used as a gateway between IP-PBX and Enterprise Voice in SIP trunk. Yuki Yamamoto, Director of Cloud Solution Development Dept., Marketing Division and two other engineers talk about their experiences building this UC environment.
