Case Study

JBS today announced the introduction of a case study featuring Free Version-up of System Center Using Microsoft Software Assurance Benefit at WAKAMOTO PHARMACEUTICAL CO., LTD. (Hereinafter Wakamoto)

Wakamoto was founded in 1929. Nutritional conditions among the Japanese people were poor at the time, and they started by selling a product made mainly of beer yeast that was called Wakamoto, using characters that mean "the source of youth."

The expiration date of Software Assurance benefits which Wakamoto obtained for Microsoft Volume License Program was approaching and JBS proposed multiple options including utilization of Communication related products. Wakamoto selected a free version-up of System Center, the support of which was about to terminate at the time. After upgrading, Wakamoto started using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for the version change of Internet Explorer, and plans to expand the usage gradually.
