JBS Receives Microsoft Partner of the Year 2014 in Two Categories

Japan Business Systems, Inc. (Headquartered in Minato-cu, Tokyo, President Yukihiro Makita, hereinafter called "JBS") received two category Awards, "Collaboration and Content Competency Award" and "Management and Virtualization Award" at Microsoft Partner of the Year Award Ceremony. Receiving "Collaboration and Content Competency Award" two consecutive years. Among certified partners who deal with system implementation using Microsoft products Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd. recognizes a number of companies who provided excellent solutions in 30 nominated categories. Microsoft Partner of the Year is awarded to those selected partners.

Following awards were given to JBS this year.

Collaboration and Content Competency Award

Award Overview

The Award is for the companies who provided excellent collaboration solutions around SharePoint to contribute the improvement of the employees' productivity.

Reasons for Recognition

JBS closed multiple large deals including a deal with over 50 thousand users by providing JBS-branded Ambient Office®, an integrated solution combining Microsoft products with related third-party products complementing them to boost operation efficiency as well as maximize user experience value, and providing SharePoint solutions together with Yammer collaboration tool. JBS also contributed Cloud business by rolling out various marketing activities.

Management and Virtualization Award

Award Overview

The Award is for the companies who provided solutions such as system management and virtualization on System Center, Hyper-V, or Microsoft Azure to help reduce the overall IT cost, enhance availability, and improve the capability of coping with organizational IT infrastructure change.

Reasons for Recognition

JBS has a broad range of service menu to support Hybrid Cloud Management Platform to meet the market needs, including JBS-branded Data Planet, which is a total solution regarding Cloud from selection, implementation to operation. Through co-working with hardware vendors and various marketing activities JBS contributed the recognition enhancement of "Cloud OS", which is a vision of Microsoft. JBS closed multiple deals with successful installation.
